Accenture PLC Issues Q3 2013 Revenue Guidance Below Analysts' Estimates; Sees FY 2013 Revenue At Lower Half Of Prior Guidance; Issues FY 2013 EPS Guidance In Line With Analysts' Estimates

Accenture PLC announced that for third quarter of 2013, it expects net revenues to be in the range of $7.25 billion to $7.50 billion. This range assumes a foreign-exchange impact of negative 2.5% compared with the third quarter of 2012. For fiscal 2013, it expects net revenue growth to be in the lower half of its previously guided range of 5% to 8% in local currency. The Company now expects diluted EPS for fiscal 2013 to be in the range of $4.89 to $4.97, reflecting the $0.65 in benefits related to final determinations of prior-year tax liabilities and the reduction in reorganization liabilities in the second quarter. Excluding these benefits, the company continues to expect EPS in the range of $4.24 to $4.32. The Company reported revenue of $27.862 billion in fiscal 2012. According to I/B/E/S Estimates, analysts are expecting the Company to report revenue of $7.6 billion for third quarter of 2013; revenue of $29.27 billion and EPS of $4.26 for fiscal 2013..
