Acciona SA Announces Further Details On FY 2012 Dividend Payment
Acciona SA announced that it will submit to the shareholders for approval a dividend payment for fiscal year 2012 in the total amount of EUR 151,737,807.50. The dividend in the amount of EUR 51,533,595, at a value of EUR 0.90 per share, was already distributed in January 2013, and a complementary dividend in the amount of EUR 100,204,212.50, at a value of EUR 1.75 per share will be effective on July 1, 2013. Acciona SA Plans Lay Off in its Energy Division in Spain-DJ
Dow Jones reported that Acciona SA is planning to lay off some employees in its energy division in Spain due to the effect of regulatory changes in the country's electricity sector. The Company will submit a restructuring proposal for the division on April 17, 2013. The division's 1,700 employees have already been informed of the plan. Reuters reported that Acciona SA announced that its subsidiary, Acciona Infrastructuras SA, has been awarded the construction of two sections of a ring road in Sao Paulo, Brazil, for a total amount of BRL 1,407 million, approximately EUR 532 million at current exchange rates. Acciona SA Wins Contract To Build Power Generation Plant in Mexico-Reuters
Reuters reported that Acciona SA announced that it has been awarded by the Federal Electricity Commission of Mexico a contract for design, supply and construction of a power generation plant in Mexico. The contact value is EUR 80 million. The construction of the plant, called Baja California II, is expected to be completed in 16 months and includes an extension of the President Juarez complex, located in Rosarito Beach, 22.5 miles to the south of Tijuana. Acciona SA And Consortium Win Contract For Construction And Management of Water Supply Network In Catalonia-Reuters
Reuters reported that the consortium, where Acciona SA holds a 39% stake, has won a contract for the construction, management and operation of water supply network Ter-Llobregat, Catalonia, for 50 years, with expected revenue of EUR 995.5 million. The consortium, which also includes Aigues de Catalunya (39%), Global Buridan (6%), Global Lubbock (6%) and Acacia ISP (5% y Gopa Consulting (5%), will take charge of the project, including processing, storage and transport of water. The amount of contract will be paid by the initial payment of EUR 298.65 million at the time of signing the contract and the rest in 50 annual installments. Full Article
