Air China Ltd announced that the Company and its wholly owned subsidiary, an import and export company (Subsidiary A), have signed a contract with Boeing Co, to buy two 747-8I planes at approximately USD 320 million each, one 777-300ER at USD 300 million, and twenty 737-800 planes at USD 80 million each, as well as the option of changing four 737-800 into one 777-300ER. The Company's 51%-owned subsidiary, an airfreight company (Subsidiary B), has also signed a contract with Boeing Co to buy eight 777-F planes at approximately USD 280 million each.
