Alfa Laval AB Acquires Ashbrook Simon-Hartley
Alfa Laval AB announced that it has acquired Ashbrook Simon-Hartley, a provider of belt filter presses, which is a complement and alternative to the Company's decanter range in the dewatering of municipal and industrial wastewater. Ashbrook Simon-Hartley is headquartered in Houston, Texas, the United States, with offices in the United Kingdom, Chile and Brazil, and has an installed base in many countries around the world. The intention is to integrate Ashbrook Simon-Hartley into the Company. The company will be consolidated into Alfa Laval from August 1, 2012. Ashbrook Simon-Hartley had sales of approximately SEK 500 million in fiscal year 2011. Financial terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
