Alstom SA To Deliver Two Steam Turbines And Generator Sets For Ultrasupercrical Coal-Fired Power Plant In Korea
Alstom SA announced that it has signed with Dongbu Corporation a contract to deliver equipment for Dongbu Green Power Plant 1&2 (1200 MW), the first ultrasupercritical coal-fired power plant to be constructed by an Independent Power Producer (IPP) in Korea. This contract, valued at over EUR100 million, covers the delivery of two 600MW steam turbines, generator sets and accessories. It will be completed by 2016. The turbines and generators will be manufactured in Alstom’s production sites in Europe and China.
