Astrapak Ltd : Trading update and trading statement for the six months ended Aug.31 2016 . Performance in Q2 was significantly better than in Q1 . Concluded reporting period with higher revenue and improved gross profit and profit from continuing operations . HEPS from continuing operations for current reporting period is expected to reflect a loss of between 4.6-4.8 cents versus loss per share of 6.4 cents last year .Six month HEPS from both continuing & discontinued expected to reflect a profit of 4.3-4.6 cents versus headline loss per share of 6.5 cents reported last year.  Full Article

Astrapak Ltd:Says on March 31 in which shareholders were advised that Astrapak had entered into an agreement on March 31 with Transpaco Plastics (Proprietary) Ltd (purchaser).Says in terms of which, if successfully implemented, Astrapak would dispose of its East Rand Plastics business to purchaser.Purchase price payable is based on an estimated value of 77.5 mln Rand for business as at closing date of transaction and 14.0 mln Eand for property occupied by business which will be transferred subsequent to the closing date.Says purchase consideration will be utilised by Astrapak to reduce its current level of gearing.  Full Article
