ASOS plc Sees FY 2012 Earnings Guidance In Line With Expectations; Announces Change in Accounting Reference Date
ASOS plc announced that it expects profit before tax and exceptional items for fiscal 2012 to be in line with expectations. According to I/B/E/S Estimates, analysts on an average are expecting the Company to report pre-tax profit of GBP39.40 million for fiscal 2012. The Company also announced that it has changed its accounting reference date and financial year end from March 31 to August 31. The Board has taken this decision to enable the Company's external reporting period to align with the buying seasons in the fashion industry.
