Atlas Copco AB Receives Order For LNG Project

Atlas Copco AB announced that it has won an order for turbocompressors to be installed at an onshore LNG facility in Northern Territory, Australia. The project, operated by INPEX Corporation with partner Total S.A. will produce liquefied natural gas (LNG) using natural gas from the Ichthys Field. The order, worth approximately USD17 million (SEK116 million), was issued by the JKC Australia LNG in the second quarter and consists of turboexpanders and air compressors. The machines are scheduled for delivery in Q3, 2013. Atlas Copco turboexpanders will be used in gas treatment, while the three-stage air compressors will produce instrument air for use at the onshore plant.
