Boeing Co:Says that it has reached an agreement with five key Japanese partners for work on the new 777X airplane.Japan Aircraft Industries and Japan Aircraft Development Corporation have signed a MOA to provide 21 percent of the major airplane structure components for the 777X.That including fuselage sections; center wing sections; pressure bulkheads; main landing gear wells; passenger, cargo and main landing gear doors; wing components and wing-body fairings.JAI is a consortium of Mitsubishi Heavy Industries, Kawasaki Heavy Industries, Fuji Heavy Industries, ShinMaywa Industries and NIPPI Corporation.  Full Article

Ryanair Holdings PLC:Agrees to buy five more 737-800 series aircraft directly from Boeing, 4 of which will be delivered in early Summer 2015, with the Feb. 5, 2016, in a deal which increases Ryanair's order book from 175 to 180 new Boeing aircraft.These five new aircraft brings value of Ryanair's order book to over $16 bln at current list prices.Says it will take 21 aircraft deliveries (up from 17) between Sept. 2014 and July 2015, which will enable the airline to open more routes and additional frequencies on existing routes for Summer 2015.  Full Article

Boeing forecasts higher demand for pilots as airplane deliveries rise

SINGAPORE, July 30 - Boeing has this year raised by 7 percent its forecast for global demand for commercial airline pilots to 533,000 over the next 20 years, citing rising deliveries of aircraft and buoyant demand from the Asia Pacific.
