Bombardier Inc:Says Bombardier Recreational Products's youth ATVs fail to meet performance requirements of the federal ATV standard for maximum unrestricted speed and parking brakes, posing a crash hazard - Consumer Product Safety Commission.Says the recall is about 12,500 units.This recall is for model year 2008 through 2015 Can-Am Mini DS ATVs.The recalled vehicles are youth model ATVs and have engines sizes of 70 cubic centimeters and 90 cubic centimeters.Model year 2008 through 2014 DS 70 ATVs fail to meet requirements pertaining to the unrestricted maximum speed of the vehicle.Model year 2008 through 2015 DS 70 and DS 90 ATVs fail to meet requirements pertaining to parking brakes.  Full Article

Pratt & Whitney signs agreement to provide data management service for Bombardier CSeries Aircraft's Health Management System

Bombardier Inc:Says it has teamed up with Pratt & Whitney to develop and implement a data management service for the CSeries aircraft - part of the overall Bombardier Aircraft Health Management System (AHMS) capable of transmitting real-time and recorded data from the aircraft.AHMS will facilitate remote troubleshooting and deliver efficient and accurate diagnostics for use by maintenance and flight crews.Under this agreement, Pratt & Whitney's eFAST system will be the infrastructure unit used to perform data transmissions from the CSeries aircraft's on-board Health Management Unit (HMU) to the ground.Along with Bombardier, they will make up the data acquisition structure which will automatically download, process and store data that will be available for upload to respective customer portals.  Full Article

Bombardier Inc:Deutsche Bahn and Bombardier Transportation have agreed on an out-of-court settlement regarding various vehicle projects, where the two companies were able to amicably settle their long-standing legal disputes.The types of trains covered under this settlement include Berlin S-Bahn vehicles, Regional and Commuter trains in Bavaria, North Rhine-Westphalia and Baden-Wurttemberg, as well as the Talent 2.Both sides have agreed not to disclose the details of the settlement.  Full Article

China's CRRC says no plans to buy Bombardier's rail assets

SHANGHAI, June 29 - Chinese train maker CRRC Corp Ltd said on Monday it had no intention to buy the rail business of Canada's Bombardier Inc, responding to recent local media reports that said it planned to do so.
