Banco Bilbao Vizcaya Argentaria SA Prices EUR 2 Billion 3.5% Bond Maturing 2017-DJ
Dow Jones reported that Banco Bilbao Vizcaya Argentaria sold EUR 2 billion (USD 2.59 billion) of five-year covered bonds. Some 90% of the bonds were sold to investors outside Spain, with the biggest proportion of buyers in Germany and the United Kingdom. Barclays, BBVA, Citigroup, Deutsche Bank, ING and Natixis were the lead managers of the sale, which has the following terms: the maturity on December 5, 2017, coupon-3.5%, reoffer price-100 and spread- 260 basis points over midswaps.
