21st Century Technology plc:Says that it has been awarded contract with one of the UK's major rail franchises and has secured an important new framework agreement with a large Passenger Transport Authority (PTA) customer, adding to an existing maintenance contract.Says rail contract is for the upgrade of CCTV systems on and around a number of railway stations and is worth c. £0.3 million.  Full Article

21st Century Technology Plc:Says that its recently formed Passenger Information Systems (PIS) division has received 0.6 mln Pounds contract.To supply number of its latest stretched Thin-Film Transistor (TFT) based high resolution passenger information display systems for large UK local authority customer.This is the first contract win for PIS division which was formed in April this year following acquisition of Region Services.Follow-on orders for the installation and ongoing maintenance of these new systems are anticipated in due course.Initial order includes over 100 stretched TFT screens and associated software which are capable of emulating traditional LED passenger information screens but which also have capabilities to produce full-motion high definition graphical representations for broader multi-media content.  Full Article

21st Century Technology PLC:Announced the acquisition of the entire issued share capital of Region Consultants Ltd, Region Services Ltd and RSL Cityspace Ltd (together RSL Group).Says total consideration for the acquisition of RSL Group is GBP1.3 mln and is being satisfied as to GBP1.1 mln in cash.Says it is funded from the company's existing cash resources, and a three year loan note of GBP0.2 mln bearing interest at 6 pct.  Full Article

21st Century Technology PLC:Has been awarded two extensions to its contract to supply advanced CCTV systems for one of the UK's rail franchises.The major extension is 1.1 mln Pounds variation to contract for the supply and installation of in-carriage CCTV systems across their entire fleet.It is anticipated that the majority of the income from this project will accrue in the financial year ended Dec. 31.This is the first in-carriage contract win in the rail industry for 21st Century following many years of developing similar solutions for buses and the contract is a validation of the Company's leading technology and service offering.The second extension is 0.2 mln Pounds variation to contract for additional forward facing CCTV systems for the customer's newly acquired fleet of trains.It is anticipated that installation of these systems will be completed by Dec. 31, 2016.  Full Article
