Ceres Inc announced the pricing of its initial public offering of 5,000,000 shares of common stock at $13.00 per share. The common stock is expected to begin trading on the NASDAQ Global Market on February 22, 2012 under the ticker symbol 'CERE.' The underwriters have been granted a 30-day option to purchase up to an additional 750,000 shares of common stock from Ceres. Ceres Inc Cuts Expected IPO Price To $16-$17 Per Share-Reuters
Reuters reported that Ceres Inc cut its price expectation for its initial public offering (IPO) to between $16 and $17 per share from between $21 and $23 earlier. Last month, the Company had said it expected to raise about $97.8 million from its IPO of 5 million shares. It now expects to raise about $72.2 million and plans to use most of the proceeds for research and development and capital spending. Full Article
