Canaccord Financial Inc. Offers To Acquire Collins Stewart Hawkpoint PLC
Canaccord Financial Inc. announced that it has made a formal offer to acquire 100% of the equity of Collins Stewart Hawkpoint plc for a price of GBP0.96 per CSHP-LN common share. It is intended that the acquisition will be implemented by way of a court sanctioned scheme of arrangement under the UK Companies Act, which requires approval from Collins Stewart Hawkpoint shareholders. The transaction is expected to close in the calendar first quarter of 2012.
