Clean Energy Fuels Corp Contracts with Green Energy Oilfield Services to Build & Supply Natural Gas Fueling Station to Support New LNG-Powered Texas Tanker Truck Fleet
Clean Energy Fuels Corp announced that it has signed a 10-year agreement with Green Energy Oilfield Services, a major Texas truck transport provider, to build, supply, and maintain a new liquefied natural gas (LNG) fueling station at Green Energy headquarters in Fairfield, Texas. The Clean Energy LNG station will fuel Green Energy’s new fleet of 60 LNG-powered heavy-duty Peterbilt trucks, which will support Green Energy’s oil production customers within a 100-mile radius of Fairfield, in the Freestone oil region of Central Texas. The trucks are anticipated to use approximately 1.2 million gallons of LNG annually. Development of the new Green Energy Fairfield LNG station is set to begin in August 2012, with completion scheduled by the end of 2012. Green Energy’s future plans include development of additional LNG truck fueling stations in the Barnett (Fort Worth), Haynesville (Marshall), and Eagle Ford Shale (Laredo) petroleum-producing areas of Texas. Clean Energy Fuels Corp Signs Joint Marketing Agreement With Navistar International Corp
Clean Energy Fuels Corp announced that it has signed a strategic joint marketing and fueling agreement with Navistar International Corp. Clean Energy will provide a comprehensive CNG/LNG fueling solution designed to meet Navistar customer demands and bring new customers into the natural gas market. Specifically, Clean Energy will work with Navistar and its customers to provide truck lessees with fueling contracts whose fuel cost savings help to lower overall costs. Clean Energy Fuels Corp. To Provide Nationwide Maintenance And Repair Services
Clean Energy Fuels Corp. announced that it has signed an agreement with national refuse company Waste Management to provide maintenance and repair services for its compressed natural gas (CNG) fueling stations throughout the United States. Clean Energy also provides engineering and construction services, as well as compression equipment through its subsidiary, IMW Industries, at selected fueling stations. Waste Management deploys about 1,000 natural gas-powered (CNG and LNG) solid waste collection and recycling trucks throughout North America, and has CNG and LNG fueling stations at 17 of its facilities with more under development. Clean Energy Fuels Corp. Secures Contract
Clean Energy Fuels Corp. announced that it has been awarded a three-year contract extension to supply LNG fuel to Sun Metro, the public transit agency serving the City of El Paso, Texas and neighboring New Mexico communities. Clean Energy has been under contract to provide LNG fuel to Sun Metro since December 2003, with fleet fuel consumption now topping three million gallons annually. The LNG fuel supplied by Clean Energy is converted on site at Sun Metro facilities to compressed natural gas (CNG) fuel, which powers the Sun Metro fleet of 200 transit and paratransit buses. Clean Energy Fuels Corp. Contracts with Fair Oaks Dairy Affiliate to Build & Operate New Natural Gas Fueling Station
Renewable Dairy Fuels, an affiliate of major Indiana milk producer Fair Oaks Dairy, has contracted with Clean Energy Fuels Corp. to build and operate a new compressed natural gas (CNG) fueling station (Fair Oaks Station) that will dispense CNG fuel to power the initial fleet of 42 CNG milk-hauling trucks that the dairy plans to deploy later this year. The Renewable Dairy Fuels CNG trucks will transport milk to processing plants owned by Kroger Co. in Indianapolis, Indiana, Murphysboro, Tennessee, and Winchester, Kentucky. Set to open in the fall of 2011, the Fair Oaks Station will also have public access and will be located near the dairy farm adjacent to Interstate 65 in Fair Oaks, Indiana — about 70 miles south of Chicago. The Fair Oaks Station will supply the Fair Oaks CNG milk-hauling truck fleet, as well as other CNG vehicles operating in the area. A second CNG station is planned for late 2011 in Southern Indiana adjacent to the Kentucky border along Interstate 65. Full Article
