Confederation Minerals Ltd. Commences Drilling At Newman
Confederation Minerals Ltd. announced that the exploration camp at the Newman-Todd property in Red Lake, Ontario, is fully operational and the 2012 drill program has begun. A minimum 5000 metre drill program is planned to follow up results returned from the 2011 drill program. In 2011 a total of 56 holes, totaling 24,707 metres were drilled into the Newman Todd Structure (NTS) along a strike length of 1.8 km (of the total 2.2km-long mineralized NTS). Magna Resources Ltd. announced that American Potash LLC, a Nevada limited liability corporation owned 50% by each of Magna and Confederation Minerals Ltd., has acquired 100% of 160 Federal lithium placer mining claims totalling 3,200 acres in northwestern Paradox Basin, southeast Utah, USA. The lithium claims are located on United States Bureau of Land Management (BLM) administered Federal lands and are staked over a portion of existing American Potash BLM pending potash prospecting permit areas.
