Continental AG announced that Schaeffler Holding GmbH & Co, Schaeffler Beteiligungsholding GmbH & Co. KG, Schaeffler Familienholding Drei GmbH & Co. KG, Schaeffler Familienholding Eins GmbH and Schaeffler Familienholding Zwei GmbH (Applicants) have submitted a mandatory offer to the shareholders of Continental AG to acquire further 27,512,528 shares of Continental AG (equal to 13.76 of the voting rights). Currently, Applicants hold 72,290,458 shares of the Company, which is equal to 36.14% of all voting rights. Further financial details were not disclosed.
