Ceragon Networks Ltd announced that it has received initial orders from PEG Bandwidth for the FibeAir IP20-C, Ceragon's recently launched, new generation of multi-core, packet radio solutions. PEG Bandwidth, a provider of customized cell site backhaul networks for wireless carriers, selected Ceragon's FibeAir IP-20C to complement their, 12-state fiber network because of ability to deliver unmatched capacity throughout the backhaul network at a low total cost of ownership (TCO). Ceragon Networks Ltd announced that it is continuing to expand footprint in Africa with long-term equipment and services orders from two customers in sub-Saharan Africa. Totaling USD28 million, both orders are from existing customers. An order of USD15 million was received for the expansion of a mobile operator's high-capacity network within this rapidly growing mobile market. The other order of USD13 million was received from an existing mobile customer for Ceragon's short haul and long haul solutions as well as professional services. This operator continues to develop 2G/3G network in one sub-Saharan country as it begins to expand into another. Ceragon Networks Ltd announced follow-on orders of more than $6.5 million USD with Mozambique Cellular (mcel) to expand the carrier's microwave network, first established in 2010.
