Cisco Systems Inc Completes Acquisition Of Cloupia

Cisco Systems Inc announced it has completed the acquisition of privately held Cloupia, a Santa Clara, Calif.-based software company that automates converged data center infrastructure. This acquisition includes Cloupia's infrastructure management software and talent. The Cloupia team will be integrated into Cisco's Data Center Group. Under the terms of the agreement, Cisco paid approximately $125 million in cash and retention-based incentives in exchange for all shares of Cloupia.
