Danaher Corp Lowers FY 2013 EPS Guidance; Issues Q1 2013 EPS Guidance Below Analysts' Estimates

Danaher Corp updated fiscal 2013 non-GAAP adjusted diluted net earnings per share guidance range to $3.32-$3.47 from a previous GAAP diluted net earnings per share range of $3.40 to $3.55. The Company anticipates non-GAAP adjusted diluted net earnings per share for first quarter of 2013 to be in the range of $0.72-$0.77. The adjusted guidance excludes the anticipated gain on the disposition of Apex as well as any benefit related to the retroactive reinstatement of certain federal tax provisions contained in the American Tax Relief Act of 2012. According to I/B/E/S Estimates, analysts were expecting the Company to report EPS of $3.52 for fiscal 2013 and EPS of $0.78 for first quarter of 2013.
