Demand Media Inc Issues Q3 2012 Guidance; Revenue And EBITDA Guidance Above Analysts' Estimates; Raises FY 2012 Guidance

Demand Media Inc announced that for the third quarter of 2012, it expects revenue in the range of $94.5 - $96.5 million, revenue ex-TAC in the range of $90.0 - $92.0 million, adjusted EBITDA in the range of $25.0 - $26.0 million and adjusted EPS in the range of $0.09 - $0.10 per share. For fiscal 2012, it expects revenue in the range of $373.0 - $377.0 million, revenue ex-TAC in the range of $355.5 - $359.5 million, adjusted EBITDA in the range of $98.5 - $100.5 million and adjusted EPS in the range of $0.35 - $0.37 per share. According to I/BE/S Estimates, analysts on an average were expecting the Company to report revenue of $88.3 million, EBITDA of $24.6 million and EPS of $0.09 for the third quarter of 2012; and revenue of $349.9 million, EBITDA of $97.5 million and EPS of $0.34 for fiscal 2012.
