eBay Inc announced that for second quarter of 2013, it expects net revenues in the range of $3,800-$3,900 million with GAAP earnings per diluted share in the range of $0.46- $0.48 and non-GAAP earnings per diluted share in the range of $0.61-$0.63. For fiscal 2013, it expects net revenues in the range of $16,000-$16,500 million with GAAP earnings per diluted share in the range of $2.23-$2.29 and non-GAAP earnings per diluted share in the range of $2.70-$2.75. According to I/B/E/S Estimates, analysts are expecting the Company to report revenue of $3,951 million and EPS of $0.66 for second quarter of 2013; revenue of $16,380 million and EPS of $2.74 for fiscal 2013.  Full Article

eBay Inc Comments On Long Term Guidance-Reuters

Reuters reported that eBay Inc foresees annual earnings growth of 15% to 19% over the next three years, and is targeting an increase in revenue of as much as 68% for the period. By then, its marketplaces business, which hosts external merchants, will handle $110 billion in sales volume in fiscal 2015, up from $75 billion in 2012. According to I/B/E/S Estimates, analysts are expecting the Company to report revenue of $16 billion and EPS of $2.73 for fiscal 2013; revenue of $19 billion and EPS of $3.19 for fiscal 2014; revenue of $21 billion and EPS of $3.72 for fiscal 2015.  Full Article

eBay Inc To Stop Re-Selling Tickets On UK Website-DJ

Dow Jones reported that eBay Inc will stop selling secondary tickets on its UK website, to encourage customers to use its ticket re-selling site StubHub Inc.'s UK site. Stubhub has done well in the U.S. but has struggled in the UK thus far. Stubhub Inc. re-sells one ticket every second in its core U.S. market, but the UK website - launched last year - sells only a few thousand tickets a month. eBay will start redirecting customers looking for tickets on its UK website to Stubhub's UK site this spring.  Full Article

eBay Inc and AEG announced that they have signed an unprecedented global partnership to facilitate multiple venue sponsorships and technology integrations, designed to create a constantly evolving showcase of world-class digital technologies for the live event experience for fans across the world. A variety of eBay companies and initiatives will be included in elements of the multi-year partnership. Beginning Q1 2013, StubHub will become the exclusive secondary ticketing solution for AEG venues and AXS Ticketing, the innovative ticketing platform launched by AEG in 2011. StubHub will also serve as the Official Secondary Partner of STAPLES Center, the 2012 Stanley Cup Champion LA Kings (NHL) and the LA Galaxy starting with the 2013-14 seasons for each franchise. eBay Inc's PayPal Cutting Jobs As Part Of Reorganization-Reuters

Reuters reported that eBay Inc's PayPal is cutting about 325 jobs as part of reorganization by its new president, David Marcus. PayPal, the online payment pioneer owned by eBay Inc said on October 29, 2012 the full-time jobs would be eliminated as it combines nine product-development groups into one. eBay Inc's PayPal plans First Job Cuts Since 2008 Financial Crisis-Reuters

Reuters reported that eBay Inc's payments division PayPal is planning to cut as much as 3% of its workforce as it looks to streamline its operations under new President David Marcus. The reductions are expected to total between 300 and 400 and be focused in product development, technology and marketing, the person said on condition of anonymity. The Economic Times reported that Tata Motors Ltd has entered into a collaboration with shopping portal Ebay Inc to sell various merchandise, including scale model, watches and pen drives, with the small car's badge. The Nano merchandise on Ebay includes Nano branded Titan watches and dry-fit T-shirts for men and women. Nano shaped pen drives, mouse, scale models, caps and key-chains among others can also be purchased from the portal.  Full Article
