Eidesvik Offshore ASA and Subsea 7 SA Announce Eidesvik Seven AS Takes Delivery of Seven Viking from Ulstein Verft AS

Eidesvik Offshore ASA (Eidesvik) announced that Eidesvik Seven AS, a joint venture between Eidesvik and Subsea 7 SA, has on January 23, 2013 taken delivery of the vessel Seven Viking from Ulstein Verft AS. The vessel is built in accordance with international class requirements including SPS code and is fit for operation in Artic waters. The vessel can accommodate 90 persons and other features are 100t SWL crane and integrated module handling and scale squeeze system. It has a propulsion system with triple azimuth units. A long-term loan facility of NOK 672 million has been drawn to finance the vessel. The vessel commenced an eight-year contract with Subsea 7 SA from the time of delivery.
