Emco Ltd. announced that it has bagged a order for the complete Power Transformers package worth INR1.612 billion (INR 161.2 crores) from NTPC for their Mauda Super Thermal Power Project-ll and Solapur Super Thermal Power Project. The package comprises supply, installation and commissioning of 35 nos. transformers of various ratings including 14 nos. 260 MVA, 420kV, 1- phase Geneator Transformers (that is 3 phase bank of 780MVA Capacity) and 3 nos. 200 MVA, 400kV 3 phase Auto Transformers. This is amongst the single order for this rating of generator Transformers in India.
