Enerplus Corporation announced that a cash dividend in the amount of CAD0.18 per share will be payable on June 20, 2011 to all shareholders of record on June 10, 2011. The ex-dividend date for this payment is June 8, 2011. The CAD0.18 per share dividend is equivalent to approximately USD0.18 per share if converted using a Canadian/US dollar exchange rate of 0.9765. Enerplus Corporation Announces Sale Of Non-operated Marcellus Interests
Enerplus Corporation announced that the Company has entered into an agreement to sell a portion of Marcellus natural gas interests in Pennsylvania, Maryland and West Virginia for estimated proceeds of USD575 million, including closing adjustments which take into account production and capital spending from the effective date. The sold interests include approximately 91,000 net acres, primarily non-operated, in southwest and central Pennsylvania, Garrett County in Maryland and northern West Virginia, with an independent contingent resource assessment of 1.6 Tcfe of natural gas as of December 31, 2010. Proved plus probable reserves associated with these leases at December 31, 2010 were 24.5 Bcfe and current production is approximately 5.4 MMcfe/day. Upon conclusion of this transaction, Enerplus will retain all of non-operated acreage in Bradford, Susquehanna, Lycoming, Columbia, Tioga, Wyoming and Sullivan counties in northern Pennsylvania as well as operated acreage in Clinton County, Pennsylvania, Garrett County, Maryland and Preston County, West Virginia. The Company retain ownership in approximately 110,000 net acres of land with an independent estimate of 2.3 Tcfe of natural gas contingent resource and 92 Bcfe of proved plus probable natural gas reserves, each as of December 31, 2010. Enerplus Corporation Reaffirms FY 2011 And FY 2012 Production Guidance
Enerplus Corporation announced that it expects fiscal 2011 production to average 78,000 - 80,000 BOE/day, essentially unchanged from exit fiscal 2010, and to increase to 80,000 - 84,000 BOE/day by year-end. Oil and liquids production is expected to grow 15% by year-end. Shallow gas and other conventional oil and gas production are expected to decline throughout the year due to reduced capital. Production is expected to grow by 10% - 15% over the next two years, exiting fiscal 2012 in the range of 86,000 - 90,000 BOE/day. Crude oil volumes are expected to increase approximately 20% over the next two years and crude oil and natural gas liquids are expected to represent just under 50% of total volumes by the end of fiscal 2012.
