Embraer SA and Boeing Co announced a partnership for the promotion and sale of medium-sized cargo aircraft Embraer KC-390. According to the agreement, Boeing Co will lead the sales campaigns of the KC-390, providing also support and trainings in the United States, the United Kingdom and in selected markets of the Middle East. Embraer SA Receives Order from Air Lituanica

Embraer SA announced that Air Lituanica has acquired two EMBRAER E-Jets. Air Lituanica will launch regular services on June 30, 2013 with the EMBRAER 170 being leased from third parties. In July 2013 Air Lituanica will add another E-Jet, EMBRAER 175, leased from ECC Leasing Company Ltd, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Embraer SA.  Full Article

Embraer SA Discloses Order from Air Costa

Embraer SA announced that Air Costa has acquired three E-Jets for the launch of regular services in the regional routes. Two EMBRAER 170 jets were leased from ECC Leasing, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Embraer SA. Air Costa purchased also the EMBRAER 190 jet directly from the Company. This order was already included in Embraer SA's backlog as an undisclosed customer.  Full Article

Embraer SA Discloses Firm Order From JAL

Embraer SA announced that it has disclosed a firm order from Japan Airlines (JAL) for another four EMBRAER 170 jets. The firm order is already included in Embraer's backlog as an 'undisclosed' customer. With this new agreement, the total number of firm orders for the E170 from JAL is 15 aircraft. As with the previous aircraft ordered by JAL, these four E170s will be configured with 76 seats in a single-class layout and will be operated by J-AIR, JAL's wholly owned subsidiary that serves the company's domestic network. The airline already operates twelve E170s, with an outstanding dispatch reliability of 99.7% over the last 12 months.  Full Article

Embraer SA Announces LOIs for Total of 65 New E-Jets E2

Embraer SA announced that it has signed Letters of Intent (LOIs) with five undisclosed airlines from Africa, Asia, Europe and Latin America for 65 orders for the E-Jets E2. The E-Jets E2 represent Embraer's commitment to continuously invest in the Company's line of commercial jets and maintain its leadership in the 70 to 130 seats market. The three new airplanes (E175-E2, E190-E2, E195-E2) carry the designator E2 which signifies generational changes in technology that have been incorporated in the design. Each of the three aircraft has the versatility for a range of single class, multi-class or high-density seat capacities to suit operator requirements, with new 'look and feel' and improved comfort levels. The first delivery of an E-Jets E2 (the E190-E2) is planned for the first semester of 2018. The E195-E2 is slated to enter service in 2019 and the E175-E2 in 2020. Over 950 E-Jets have been delivered to date. Currently, 65 customers from 47 countries have added Embraer E-Jets to their fleets.  Full Article

Embraer SA Receives Additional Order from SkyWest Inc

Embraer SA announced that, following order dated May 21, 2013, it received an additional order from SkyWest Inc for the 100 E175-E2 jets with another 100 purchase rights, increasing the potential of the total order to 200 jets. If all the orders are exercised, the combined order has an estimated value of USD 9.36 billion at current list prices.  Full Article

American International Group Inc's International Lease Finance Corporation Unveils Intention To Purchase 50 E-Jets E2 Aircraft From Embraer SA

International Lease Finance Corporation (ILFC), a wholly owned subsidiary of American International Group Inc announced that it signed a letter of intent, subject to final agreement, for the purchase of 50 E-Jets E2 aircraft from Embraer SA, including 25 E190-E2 and 25 E195-E2. The deal also includes options for an additional 50 aircraft, and marks the introduction of the E-Jets Family to the Company’s diverse aircraft fleet. Deliveries of the new aircraft are expected to begin in January 2018 and complete in 2023.  Full Article

United Technologies Corp's UTC Aerospace Systems Partners With Embraer SA To Showcase Electric Brake Technology

UTC Aerospace Systems, a unit of United Technologies Corp. announced that it had partnered with Embraer S.A. to successfully demonstrate the next generation of electric braking system technology. The demonstration was performed under Embraer's "More Electric Aircraft" (MEA) study assessing the benefits of the newest generation of electric braking technology that incorporates reductions in system weight and envelope. The test equipment included electrically actuated brakes and electro-mechanical actuator controllers. Technology experts from both companies collaborated over eighteen months to prepare for the series of on-aircraft tests conducted on an Embraer 145 LR regional jet.  Full Article

Embraer SA Announces Q2 2013 Own Capital Interest Payment

Embraer SA announced that on June 13, 2013, it approved the payment of own capital interest for the second quarter of fiscal year 2013 totaling BRL 29,133,165.76 and corresponding to BRL 0.04 per share which will be imputed to the obligatory dividend for the fiscal year 2013. Record date is June 24, 2013. Shares will be traded ex-interests as from June 25, 2013. The payment will be initiated on July 18, 2013.  Full Article
