Ford Motor Co:Will recall 13,493 imported Edge SUVs in China on a possible fuel system leak that could lead to a fire, China's quality watchdog said-Reuters.The 2.0-litre SUVs, produced between Sept. 2, 2010 and Apr. 25, 2013, will be recalled starting Feb. 21.China's General Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine said in a statement posted on its website.A China-based spokesman confirmed the recall and said the company had no further comment to make.  Full Article

Ford Motor Co:Says the U.S. Supreme Court on Dec. 02 sent a $470 million tax dispute between Ford Motor Co and the Internal Revenue Service back to a lower court for further review - Reuters.Says the justices threw out a sixth U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals ruling in favor of the government and asked the court to take a second look at the case.Says it had been credited for overpaying certain taxes dating back to 1983.Says it argued its overpayments were essentially a loan to the IRS that should have accrued interest.Says it was denied a $470 million interest payment by a Michigan district court in 2010.Says the U.S. appeals court ruled against Ford in December 2012.  Full Article
