Sourcefire, Inc. Issues Q3 2012 Guidance; EPS Guidance Above Analysts' Estimates

Sourcefire, Inc. announced that for third quarter of 2012, it expects revenue in the range of $54.0-$56.0 million, net income per diluted share in the range of $0.04-$0.06 and, on an adjusted basis, net income per diluted share (EPS) in the range of $0.19-$0.21. Sourcefire's expectation of adjusted net income per diluted share excludes stock-based compensation expense of $7.2 million to $7.4 million and amortization of acquired intangible assets of approximately $0.3 million, and includes an assumed 35% tax rate. According to I/B/E/S Estimates, analysts are expecting the Company to report revenue of $55.1 million and EPS of $0.22 for third quarter of 2012.
