FLSmidth & Co A/S:Receives orders from Mongolia-based Mongolyn Alt (MAK) Group, to supply engineering, procurement and site construction services for the Tsagaan Suvarga copper-molybdenum concentrator project.Order value $43 million.The plant, with a capacity of 40,000 tons per day of ore, will be located in the central part of the proven Oyu Tolgoi south Gobi porphyry copper belt in southeast Mongolia.  Full Article

FLSmidth says penalty on former subsidiary is upheld

FLSmidth & Co A/S:Says the European Court of Justice has ruled that the penalty imposed on the company in March 2012 is upheld at 14.45 million euros.In 2005 the European Commission ruled that FLSmidthand the subsidiary company FLS Plast A/S were to be held partly liable with regards to a cartel penalty on a formerly FLSmidth-owned French company then named Silvallac S.A (later Trioplast Wittenheim).FLSmidth has appealed the cartel decision twice, latest in March 2012 where the General Court reduced FLSmidth's and the subsidiary company FLS Plast A/S' partly liability for this penalty.The liability was reduced from 15.30 million euros to 14.45 million euros.The judgement concerning FLS Plast A/S is still pending.  Full Article

FLSmidth & Co A/S:Says it has received an order worth about 40 mln EURO (DKK 300 mln) from Indonesian cement producer PT Semen Padang for a cement production line with a capacity of 8,000 tonnes per day.Says the order comprises equipment for the main part of the production line, including a raw mill, coal mill, preheater, kiln, burner, clinker cooler and silo equipment as well as a complete control system for the entire plant.  Full Article

FLSmidth & Co A/S:Says has received an order for Qatari cement producer Al Khalij Cement covering supply of a complete cement production line for the customer's plant in Umm Bab.Says value of the order is 515 million Danish crowns.Says the production line will be a duplicate of the existing line, which was supplied by FLSmidth in 2007.Says the order covers all main equipment for the production line: conveyor transport systems, mills, complete pyro line, electrical and automation systems as well as filters.Says the production line is being supplied in cooperation with CNBM International Engineering, which is part of China National Building Materials (CNBM).Says FLSmidth's role in the cooperation is to engineer the plant and supply the main equipment, while CNBM is the turnkey contractor and received the order from Al Khalij Cement in cooperation with FLSmidth.  Full Article
