HealthWarehouse.com, Inc. Partners With Health Care Access Now to Assist Underserved Cincinnati Residents With Medications
HealthWarehouse.com, Inc. and Health Care Access Now, a nonprofit Ohio corporation established to improve access and delivery of healthcare for Greater Cincinnati's underserved populations, announced that they have partnered to provide an affordable prescription program allowing people in need the ability to purchase 300 medications for $3.50 with delivery to their home or apartment. The partnership will target 20 counties in Southwest Ohio, Northern Kentucky, and Southeastern Indiana, with a combined population of 2.2 million people. Health Care Access Now estimates that approximately 11% of Greater Cincinnati's population does not have access to a regular healthcare provider and lack affordable options for their medications. HealthWarehouse intends to make prescription and over-the-counter medications available to Greater Cincinnati residents through a variety of care coordination community-based healthcare providers. The partnership will allow patients who previously could not afford their medications the ability to be more compliant with their doctor's orders and live a better quality of life.
