Hill-Rom Holdings Inc Comments On Q2 2013 Revenue Guidance; EPS Guidance Below Analysts' Estimates; Reaffirms FY 2013 Revenue And EBITDA Guidance; Lowers FY 2013 EPS Guidance

Hill-Rom Holdings Inc announced that for the second quarter of 2013, it expects revenue growth of 4% to 5% and adjusted earnings per diluted share (EPS) to be $0.48 to $0.50. For fiscal 2013, it expects revenue growth of 7% to 8%, adjusted earnings per diluted share (EPS) guidance is unchanged except for the impact of the reinstatement of the R&D tax credit. Adjusted earnings per diluted share are expected to be $2.01 to $2.11, including $0.03 related to the current year tax credit and $0.03 related to the prior year credit to be recognized in the second quarter and adjusted EBITDA is unchanged at $315 to $325 million. The Company reported revenue of $1.634 in fiscal 2011. According to I/B/E/S Estimates, analysts are expecting the Company to report revenue of $448 million and EPS of $0.52 for second quarter of 2013; revenue of $1.75 billion, EPS of $2.03 and EBITDA of $324 million for fiscal 2013.
