Intex Resources ASA Announces Chairman Charged by OKOKRIM with Breaching Certain Provisions

Intex Resources ASA announced that it has been informed that the Norwegian National Authority for Investigation and Prosecution of Economic and Environmental Crime (OKOKRIM) has charged the Chairman of the Board of the Company for breaching certain provisions in the Norwegian Securities Trading Act chapter three. These charges against the Chairman replace the charges put forward in June 2012 (Stock Exchange Notice of June 19, 2012). The elements of the charges relate to inciting others to trade on inside information, distribution of inside information to claimed unauthorized persons (the Company's financial advisors), market manipulation, providing advice on trading when possessing inside information and failure to disclose a put option of part of the share purchase in the Company reported in press release January 20, 2012. The Chairman is not accused of trading on inside information. The Board has reviewed the charges against the Chairman, and in the Board's opinion, the Chairman has acted in accordance with standard corporate practice and governance in his communication with the advisors, and potential partners of the Company.
