JBS SA to Acquire Agroveneto SA

JBS SA announced that on November 3, 2012 it signed an agreement for the acquisition of a 100% stake in Agroveneto SA. Total value of the transaction is of BRL 128 million. Agroveneto SA is a company specialized in a chicken meat, located in the municipality of Nova Veneza, Santa Catarina state, Brazil. The completion of the agreement is subject to the approval of regulatory bodies, its Board of Directors and conclusion of due diligence.
