JLT Mobile Computers AB Launches New Mobile Broadband Modem

JLT Mobile Computers AB announced that it has launched its jLink modem, a rugged mobile broadband modem. Used together with the JLT dockable vehicle computer jFlex, JLT offers customers a computer solution that combines the reliability of a fixed mounted computer with the flexibility of a handheld computer. The jLink modem can also be used together with other computers. The jLink modem has been developed primarily for use in combination with the jFlex computer for customers in outdoor logistics, harbors and transportation, but the modem can also be used with JLT1214S, JLT VERSO and other computers. The modem supports GSM, GPRS, EDGE as well as UMTS, HSDPA, and HSUPA, and has the ingress protection class IP65. It functions in temperatures from minus 30 degrees Celsius to plus 70 degrees Celsius and is resistant to vibrations in forklifts, trucks and other vehicles.  Full Article
