Kongsberg Gruppen ASA:Says it has signed a contract with the Norwegian Defence Logistics Organization (NDLO) for part 2 of the Joint Strike Missile (JSM) Phase III development contract announced July 2.The contract comprises production of test missiles, to be used in the integration activities including test equipment.The contract also includes missile testing and qualification to be performed on the F-16 in the 2015 to 2017 period until the F-35 Block IV becomes available.The contract is for 280 mln Norwegian crowns.  Full Article

Kongsberg Gruppen ASA:Says Kongsberg Maritime's Full Picture solution has been selected by Chinese and Korean shipbuilders for 13 newbuild offshore vessels with total value of 330 mln Norwegian crowns.Dalian Shipbuilding Industry Offshore Co. (DSIC), CIMC Raffles, Cosco Shipyard and Hudong Zhonghua Shipyard in China, Samsung Heavy Industries and Hyundai Heavy Industries in Korea are shipbuilders that have selected KONGSBERG's Full Picture technology deliveries.Kongsberg Maritime will provide integrated dynamic positioning, automation, navigation and hydroacoustic positioning.Riser management solutions will be supplied by sister company Kongsberg Oil & Gas Technologies.Delivery is for four Offshore Drilling Units, two Accommodation Units, six LNG vessels and one LNG FSRU with Integrated Automation System.One of the contracts with DSIC is for Semi-Submersible Drilling Rig of Agility Group A5000 design, for Chinese Drilling Contractor, China Oilfield Services.  Full Article

Kongsberg Gruppen ASA:Says Kongsberg Satellite Services (KSAT) is awarded extension contract to provide ground station services to Raytheon Company, USA.KSAT will be using company ground stations in Svalbard Norway to provide services to Raytheon Company, contractor supporting ground stations to Joint Polar Satellite System (JPSS).Ground Station will be operated from Tromso Network Operation Center (TNOC).Contract is from Oct. 1, 2016 through Sep. 30, 2022.Extension contract value is about $41 million.  Full Article

Telenor ASA:Norway's government will ask parliament for the right to cut its stake in telecommunications company Telenor and industrial group Kongsberg Gruppen to 34 percent of each entity, the trade minister said on June 19-Reuters.Norway's government holds 54 percent of Telenor, a global telecoms company with 172 million customers in Europe and Asia.The state owns 50 percent in Kongsberg Gruppen.A 20 percent stake in Telenor is worth around $7.1 billion at current prices, while a 16 percent stake in Kongsberg Gruppen is worth around $440 million.  Full Article
