Lanco Infratech Ltd Seeking To Raise $750 Million By Selling Minority Stake In Power Business-DJ
Dow Jones reported that Lanco Infratech Ltd is seeking to sell a minority stake in thermal power-generation business to raise $750 million. Dheeraj Sood, head of investor relations, said it has mandated investment banker Macquarie to facilitate a deal. Lanco Infratech also has plans to sell roads and wind-energy businesses as the Company wants to concentrate on thermal, hydro-electric and solar power generation, as well as engineering and construction divisions.
