Lamprell Plc : Received a new contract award from ScottishPower Renewables for fabrication of multiple jackets and piles for East Anglia One offshore wind farm . Contract is valued at approximately $225 mln .Fabrication work in Lamprell's Jebel Ali and Sharjah yards in UAE is scheduled to start in March 2017, with deliveries to be made between March and Oct 2018.  Full Article

Lamprell Plc : Christopher McDonald has now taken up his role as chief executive officer (CEO) for group and as an executive director on board . Moffat will continue to support McDonald full time until mid-November when he will take up his part-time consultancy role . John Kennedy will continue in role of executive chairman until such time as transition to new CEO has been completed .James Moffat, who has been in role of CEO since March 2013, has stepped down.  Full Article

Has received a new contract award from Jacktel AS, a wholly owned subsidiary of Master Marine AS . Contract for upgrade of mobile operating unit "Haven" as an accommodation service vessel for Statoil "Johan Sverdrup" field, offshore Norway .Scope of works includes procurement, construction and installation of extended legs and new suction caissons.  Full Article

Lamprell Plc : H1 revenue at $451.3 million . H1 Ebitda at $10.0 million versus $31.8 million . As at 30 June 2016, backlog of $297.1 million (31 December 2015: $739.7 million) . Bid pipeline at about $3.9 billion (31 december 2015: $5.4 billion) . Revenue for fy 2016 expected to be slightly below current market expectations . Lamprell Plc:Says that James Moffat has decided to retire effective June 30, 2016, and will stand down as chief executive officer and as a director on that date.Says that until June 2016, Moffat will continue in his role as a director and chief executive officer allowing a smooth handover of his responsibilities.Says John Kennedy will take on role of executive chairman for the group until next annual general meeting of the company in 2016 as the company refreshes its strategy in light of the current market environment.Says Tony Wright has been promoted to role of chief financial officer and has been appointed as an executive director of the board with immediate effect.  Full Article

Lamprell Plc:Says that National Drilling Company (NDC), Abu Dhabi, has exercised one of its existing options and awarded a contract to Lamprell for the construction and delivery of a high specification jackup drilling rig.Lamprell has previously been awarded contracts by NDC for a series of eight rigs and this ninth rig will be of the same design.The LeTourneau-designed, Super 116E (Enhanced) Class mobile offshore drilling unit will be constructed at Lamprell's facility in Hamriyah, United Arab Emirates (UAE), with a planned delivery in Q2 2017.  Full Article
