Liepajas autobusu parks AS Establishes a New Daughter Company; Becomes 68.12 % Co-partner with SIA BalticTaxi
Liepajas autobusu parks AS (LAP) announced that it has decided to invest in establishing a new daughter company by investing LVL 100 000 in the equity capital and paying 100% of company’s equity capital. The new daughter company will start renting busses to tourism and other companies. LAP will also invest in SIA Baltic Taxi, a company that operates in the field of irregular passenger transportation by providing taxi services. LAP has made an investment of LVL 500 000 by paying off the SIA Baltic Taxi capital shares thus becoming a 68.12% co-partner of the SIA BalticTaxi equity capital. The amount spent on SIA BalticTaxi capital shares is paid off and has been invested into the Company’s equity capital. Investments are made within the framework of LAP development strategy adopted in May 2012.
