L'oreal SA announced that it is confident to achieve another year of sales and profit growth for full year 2013. The Company reported full year 2012 revenue of EUR 28,869.5 million and full year 2012 net income of EUR 3,819.3 million. L'Oreal SA announced the inauguration, on January 10, 2013, of its new R&I Center to study Indian hair and skin specificities, as well as the beauty routines and expectations of Indian consumers. L'Oreal plans to invest a total of EUR140 million (Rs. 970 Crores) in India from 2011 to 2016. The R&I Center in India is the Group's sixth R&I hub globally. L'Oreal SA Opens in Mexico Hair Color Production Plant
L'Oreal SA announced, on December 11, 2012 the opening of a hair color production plant. With an investment totaling USD 100 million, this new factory will double the production capacity in Mexico, and will supply both Latin America and North America. Focusing entirely on hair color products, the 32,000 square meters facility is located in the Logistik II Industrial Park, in Villa de Reyes, State of San Luis Potosi. L'oreal SA Inaugurates New Factory in Indonesia
L'oreal SA announced the opening of a 66,000 square meter factory located at the Jababeka Industrial Estate, West Java, Indonesia. With a staged investment totalling EUR 100 million (approximately IDR 1.25 trillion), this new factory will serve as the production hub for the South-East Asian region. It will manufacture hair and skin care products for the mass market brands, L'Oreal Paris and Garnier. 30% of the production will cater to the domestic market while 70% will be distributed to all other countries in the South-East Asian region.
