NK Lukoil OAO Aims to Raise Hydrocarbon Production in Russia 2% in 2013-Interfax
Interfax reported that NK Lukoil OAO (Lukoil) plans to increase production of hydrocarbons at its fields in Russia by 2% in 2013, the Company's President Mr. Vagit Alekperov said in an interview with business daily Vedomosti. This year the Company acquired Samara Nafta, carried out measures in Western Siberia, in Timan-Pechora, began increasing production in Perm Territory, in the Caspian. This will give about a 2% increase compared to last year's result, Mr. Alekperov said, referring to production in Russia, including Samara Nafta. He said the Company is looking for new projects in Russia that would make it possible to establish a new oil and gas province.
