Meggitt PLC Announces Interim Dividend

Meggitt PLC announced that the Directors have declared an interim dividend of 3.60p per ordinary share (2011: 3.20p) which will be paid on 5 October 2012 to shareholders on the register on 17 August 2012. A scrip dividend will be available for shareholders who wish to take the dividend in the form of shares rather than cash and the last date for receipt of forms of election for the scrip dividend will be 21 September 2012. As the dividend was approved by the Directors after 30 June 2012 the dividend cost of £28.2 million (2011: £24.8 million) is not recorded as a liability at the balance sheet date.
