April 21 (Reuters) - Acciona SA : :Iberdrola has chosen the consortium formed by Acciona, Mota Engil and Edivisa to build the Alto Tamega dam and hydroelectric plant on the river Tamega, near Oporto, Portugal.The contract, amounting to around 110 million euros ($118 million), is in addition to the pre-existing 50 million euros contract for the construction of the penstock at the Gouvaes hydroelectric plant.  Full Article

Mota Engil FY net profit rises to 50 mln euros

Mota Engil SGPS SA : Reported on Monday FY turnover of 2.21 billion euros ($2.40 billion) versus 2.43 billion euros year ago . FY EBITDA 334 million euros versus 367 million euros year ago . FY net profit 50 million euros versus 19 million euros year ago . The net result was positively impacted by assets disposal capital gain, which more than offset an increase in non-cash costs, affected by a very conservative provisioning policy . Net debt, including leasing and factoring and the Angolan bonds, amounted to 1.34 billion euros, of which 182 million euros is leasing and factoring, which was down 33 million euros year on year . Backlog at Dec. 2016 reached 4.4 billion euros . The short term outlook is positive, mainly in Africa, where activity is recovering and more projects are being tendered and in Latin America where execution should accelerate .In 2017 expects increase in top-line and stable EBITDA margin; capex of about 120 million euros, including EGF.  Full Article

FY EBITDA margin flat at 15 pct year on year . Backlog at 4.4 billion euros, of which 4.0 billion was international backlog . Mota Engil, Yapi Merkezi win $1 bln Tanzania rail deal

Portugal's largest builder Mota Engil SGPS SA : Said on Friday that it was awarded a contract worth $1.03 billion (954.5 million euros) in Tanzania in a consortium with the Turkish group Yapi Merkezi. . Mota Engil and Yapi Merkezi hold equal stakes in the consortium. . The project includes the construction of the first 202 km stretch of the railway between Dar Es Salam and the neighbouring countries Rwanda and Burundi. . Mota Engil says Ardian settles 384 mln euro payment in first phase of Ascendi deal

Mota Engil SGPS SA : Said on Wednesday that Ardian Infrastructure has settled a payment of 384 million euros ($412.5 million), related to the first phase of Ascendi assets disposal . The first phase includes direct and indirect stakes in Ascendi Norte - Auto-Estradas do Norte, Ascendi Beiras Litoral e Alta - Auto-Estradas das Beiras Litoral e Alta, Ascendi Costa de Prata - Auto-Estradas da Costa de Prata, Ascendi Grande Porto - Auto-Estradas do Grande Porto, Ascendi Grande Lisboa - Auto-Estradas de Grande Lisboa and the respective operators . The first phase also includes a 75 percent stake in Ascendi – Servicos de Assessoria, Gestao e Operacao and a 20 pct stake in Via Verde Portugal – Gestao de Sistemas Electronicos de Cobranca .The first phase does not include stakes in three other concessionaires: Ascendi Pinhal Interior - Estradas do Pinhal Interior, Ascendi Douro – Estradas do Douro Interior, and Autovia de Los Vinedos Sociedad Anonima Concesionaria de La Junta de Comunidades de Castilla – La Mancha.  Full Article

Mota Engil units notified by waste service regulation authority on 2016-2018 tariffs

Mota Engil SGPS SA : Said on Monday that its affiliated companies in the urban waste selective collection and treatment segment owned by EGF were notified by the Water and Waste Services Regulation Authority (ERSAR) about their allowed revenues and regulated tariffs for the regulatory period 2016-2018 . The decisions include the definition of the RAB (Regulated Asset Base) at 272.8 million euros ($286.1 million) and the ROA (Return on Assets) at 6.14 percent . ERSAR also estimated the total revenues for the combined 11 municipal treatment systems (EGF affiliated companies), which are in line with Mota Engil's Strategy Plan . 11 regulated entities consider that some of the regulatory parameters imposed by ERSAR does not allow the achievement of both the European and national goals set forth the waste collection and treatment sector .Mota Engil reserves the right to question the imposed decisions to the relevant authorities.  Full Article

Mota Engil SGPS SA : Says it targets accumulated Free-Cash Flow (FCF) for the period 2016-2020 above 1 billion euros ($1.12 billion) . Targets accumulated FCF to equity for the period 2016-2020 above 450 million euros . Says additionally it should be added FCF resulting from disposals of Tertir, Indaqua, Ascendi and some real estate assets in an amount above 500.0 million euros . Targets turnover increase to 4 billion euros for FY 2020 . Mota Engil to develop new international airport in Rwanda

Mota Engil SGPS SA : Said on Thursday joint-venture in which Mota Engil Africa holds a 75 percent stake signed agreement to develop the new Bugusera International Airport in Rwanda with an initial investment of $418 million . Deal includes financing, construction, operation and maintenance of the airport for the period of 25 years, with a possible extension for another 15 years . Expects to conclude construction by Dec. 2018 . Expects the airport to have an initial capacity of 1.7 million passengers .Says the project is part of an investment program of the Rwanda Government to establish Kigali as a tourist and business conference destination.  Full Article
