Maire Tecnimont SpA:Says its subsidiary KT – Kinetics Technology has been awarded by Total Olefins Antwerpen (Total Group) two contracts for the implementation of the Refinery Off Gas project (ROG) at Total’s Antwerp refinery in Belgium.Says the ROG project is aimed at recovering volumes of valuable hydrocarbons that are being burnt as fuel gas and at processing such streams in the existing naphtha cracker.The overall value of the two contracts will be about 190 million euros.  Full Article

Maire Tecnimont SpA:Says the Consortium between some of its subsidiaries (86 pct) and the Turkish company Ustay A.S. (14 pct) has been awarded the Sonara Phase II Expansion project in Cameroon.Says the project relates to the realization of a new Hydrocracker Complex in the Refinery of Limbe (south-west of Cameroon) and is aimed at improving the quality of the refined products and at increasing the overall flexibility of the facilities.Says the Client is SOciete NAtionale de RAffinage (SONARA), the company that owns and operates the Refinery.Says the overall contract value is equal to about $715 million out of which about $612 million pertaining to the Maire Tecnimont Group.Says Maire Tecnimont Group's Scope of work includes Engineering Services for the whole Project, the Procurement activities, the Construction of part of the Facilities, the Construction Supervision, and the Commissioning Services.Says a portion of the Construction activities will be carried out by Ustay A.S.Says completion is expected by the second half of 2017.Says the project has been awarded by the Ministry of the Public Contracts of Cameroon.  Full Article

Maire Tecnimont SpA:Says its main operating company Tecnimont SpA has signed contracts for the execution of the Engineering Works for two fertilizer plants in Russia, as well as an agreement for EPC direct negotiation for one of the two plants.Says the owners of the plants will be subsidiaries of EuroChem Mineral and Chemical Company, a company producing primarily nitrogen and phosphate fertilizers, as well as certain organic synthesis products and iron ore.Says the first facility is an ammonia plant with a capacity of 2,700 MTPD (metric tons per day) based on KBR technology, and related Utilities and Offsites, in the industrial site of Kingisepp, Saint Petersburg region.Says the second facility is an ammonia plant with a capacity of 2,700 MTPD based on KBR technology, a granular urea plant with a capacity of 3,500 MTPD based on Stamicarbon technology and related Utilities and Offsites in the industrial site of Nevinnomyssk, Stavropol region.Says the total value of the Engineering Works already effective to date is equal to about 30 million euros.Says the Projects shall be realized by Tecnimont in cooperation with Chemoproject Nitrogen of the Czech Republic as nominated subcontractor.  Full Article

Maire Tecnimont SpA:Says it received, through its subsidiaries, new awards related primarily to Engineering and Procurement (EP) for a total value of about $926 million (674 mln euros).Says it received an award in the Dominican Republic for an overall value of $1,945 million, out of which about $690 million relates to Maire Tecnimont Group for Engineering and Procurement (EP).Says the award won in the Dominican Republic was wan in consortium with Construtora Norberto Odebrecht S.A and Ingenieria Estrella SRL and relates to the Punta Catalina project.Says the project relates to the realization of a coal-fired thermal plant, an offshore terminal, and other associated facilities.Says the client is CDEEE, the Dominican Republic’s state energy holding.Says it was also awarded other contracts focused in Licensing, Engineering and Procurement for an overall value of about $236 million in Europe, North America, Africa, the Middle East and Asia.  Full Article

Maire Tecnimont SpA announced that several contracts and order implementations have been awarded through its subsidiaries Tecnimont S.p.A., KT - Kinetics Technology S.p.A. and Stamicarbon BV, for a total amount of approximately EUR 118 million for Licensing, Technology Packages and Engineering Services. These new awards, related to the core business of oil & gas, petrochemicals and fertilizers, have been granted mainly in Europe, the Middle East and Central - Eastern Asia, confirming the growth strategy in the higher margin and technology-driven service area. In particular, the Group has consolidated its presence in Azerbaijan through a number of technology licensing, engineering and procurement services awards granted by a local Oil & Gas player, related to fertilizer and polyolefin plants in the industrial site of Sumgayit. Furthermore, contracts have been awarded by a global licensor for engineering services related to two EVA (Ethylene Vinyl Acetate) plants in Shanghai and Yangzi (People’s Republic of China).  Full Article
