Neonode Inc Signs Multi-Sensing Technology License Agreement With Office Equipment Manufacturer
Neonode Inc announced that it has entered into a multi-year technology license agreement with one of the global manufacturers of office equipment. The first product, based on Neonode’s Multi-Sensing solution, is expected to be launched by the third quarter of 2012. Under the terms of the agreement zForce, Neonode’s industry Multi-Sensing technology, will be integrated with the color LCD panels on a certain range of office equipment. Neonode has already completed the integration of zForce with the first batch of products included in the agreement. Neonode will receive an undisclosed license fee for each unit of the products sold that features the Multi-Sensing technology. There is no minimum or maximum total amount of license fees that Neonode can receive as a result of this customer agreement. Full Article
Neonode Inc Announces Issue Of US Patent For Sweep Gesture User Interface
Neonode Inc announced the January 10th, 2012 issuance to Neonode, Inc. by the US Patent and Trademark Office of patent number 8,095,879 for sweep gesture user interfaces. The patent covers activating a function in response to a touch-and-glide operation on a touch sensitive surface. This patent complements Neonode’s US patents 7,880,732 and 8,068,101 for small to midsize touchscreen devices. Neonode Inc Announces Closing Of Common Stock Offering
Neonode Inc announced the closing of its underwritten registered offering of 4,300,000 shares of its common stock, of which 3,000,000 shares were sold by Neonode and 1,300,000 shares were sold by Per Bystedt, its executive chairman, and Thomas Eriksson, its chief executive officer, at a price of $4.00 per share. The offering resulted in net proceeds to Neonode of approximately $11.2 million, after deducting the underwriting discount but before deducting other estimated offering expenses payable by Neonode. Neonode anticipates using the net proceeds from the offering primarily for general corporate purposes, including capital expenditures and working capital. The closing included an additional 300,000 shares, which were sold by the selling stockholders upon the exercise by the underwriter of its over-allotment option. Neonode will not receive any proceeds from the sale of any shares by the selling stockholders or upon the exercise of the underwriter’s over-allotment option. Cowen and Company, LLC acted as underwriter and sole book-running manager for the offering. GP Bullhound Ltd. acted as financial advisor for the offering. Full Article

Neonode Inc announced the pricing of a $16.0 million underwritten public offering of 4,000,000 shares of its common stock, of which 3,000,000 shares are being offered by Neonode and 1,000,000 shares are being offered by Per Bystedt, its executive chairman, and Thomas Eriksson, its chief executive officer. The shares will be offered at a price to the public of $4.00 per share. The selling stockholders have granted the underwriters a 30-day option to purchase, at the public offering price, up to an aggregate of 600,000 additional shares of its common stock to cover overallotments, if any. The offering is expected to close on or about December 13, 2011, subject to customary closing conditions. Neonode anticipates using the net proceeds from the offering primarily for general corporate purposes, including capital expenditures and working capital.
