Northern Financial Corporation Announces Proposed Private Placement

Northern Financial Corporation announced a proposed private placement of up to 8,000,000 common shares at a price per share of $0.05 for gross proceeds of up to $400,000. All common shares issued pursuant to the Private Placement will be subject to a four-month hold pursuant to applicable securities legislation. The private placement is expected to close on June 29, 2012, and is subject to regulatory approval. The Company intends to use the proceeds of the private placement for its general working capital and investment in Northern Securities Inc, the Company's wholly owned subsidiary.
