Newfield Exploration Company announced that it has priced its public offering of $1 billion of 5 5/8% Senior Notes due 2024. The notes were issued at par. The Company expects to close the offering on June 26, 2012 and intends to use the net proceeds from the offering to fund its tender offer and consent solicitation for its existing 6 5/8% Senior Subordinated Notes due 2016 and to reduce borrowings outstanding under its credit arrangements. Newfield Exploration Company announced that it has raised its fiscal 2012 expectations for total company production to 292-302 Bcfe (previous guidance was 290-300 Bcfe). For the second quarter of 2012, Newfield expects production to be approximately 76 Bcfe (comprised of 40 Bcfe of natural gas, 3.6 MMBbls of domestic oil and liquids and 2.4 MMBbls of international oil). HONG KONG, Nov 12 - Malaysian oilfield service provider SapuraKencana Bhd is raising a loan of up to $5.8 billion, which would be one of the largest ever loans for a Malaysian company, bankers said on Tuesday.
