Gazprom OAO Acquires 38% in Noril'skgazprom OAO-Interfax
Interfax reported that Gazprom OAO (Gazprom) has purchased 38% of the shares in Noril'skgazprom OAO, the key gas supplier for MMC Norilsk Nickel's enterprises in Taymyr in the northern Krasnoyarsk territory, the polar gas company reported. The price and other terms of the deal were not disclosed. Gazprom did not previously own any shares in Noril'skgazprom OAO. Moscow-based OJSC Rosneftegaz was the previous owner of the 38% stake. Noril'skgazprom OAO primary shareholder is Norilsk Nickel, which raised its stake from 29.39% to 59.17% in April. Full Article
Gazprom OAO Seeks MICEX Listing-Interfax
Interfax reported that Gazprom OAO (Gazprom), which trades unlisted on the MICEX, wants to secure listing on that exchange. The Company's statement says that an important direction of Gazprom's activities is undergoing listing procedures on the MICEX. The inclusion of Gazprom stock on the quotation list of securities admitted to trading on the MICEX will make it possible to lift restrictions on the acquisition of the Company's shares by Russian institutional investors, pension and investment funds, insurance organizations. This will increase confidence in the securities of Gazprom and provide the opportunity to increase the proportion of Russian financial structures among the Company's investors. Full Article

Gazprom OAO Increases Stake In Bosphorus Gaz Corporation AS by 20% to 71%-Interfax
Interfax reported that Gazprom OAO has after three years of anticipation been able to boost its stake in Turkish trader Bosphorus Gaz Corporation AS by 20% to 71%. Gazprom OAO paid USD 15.7 million for the stake in 2009, but the conclusion of the deal was dependent on local regulatory approval, and it was wrapped up only in April of 2012. Interfax reported that Gazprom OAO has acquired from Rosneftegaz OAO a 25.002% stake in Udmurtgaz OAO and a 99% stake in Moskovskiy gazopererabatyvayushchiy zavod OAO. The shares were entered on the Gazprom OAO's account on April 24-25. The whole deal with Rosneftegaz involves stakes in 72 gas-related companies. Gazprom OAO paid for it RUB 25.861 billion. Interfax reported that the Board of Directors of Gazprom OAO approved acquisition of 92.25% stake in Kamchatgazprom OAO from Rosneftegaz OAO. Gazprom OAO Consults with PwC on Asset Exchange with BASF-Interfax
Interfax reported that PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC) has consulted with Gazprom OAO concerning the pending exchange of assets with BASF/Wintershall. Gazprom OAO's CEO, Mr. Alexei Miller, met with PwC President, Mr. Dennis Nelly, to examine the course of collaboration in preparing the exchange of assets between GazpromOAO and Wintershall under the project to develop the Achimov deposits at the Urengoi field, the Company said in a statement. Wintershall plans to transfer Gazprom OAO a 50% of Wintershall Noordzee BV as well as full control over the Wingas sales partnership and the storage joint venture astora in exchange for the Achimov 4A and 5A sections at Urengoi.
