Oracle Corp Comments On Q4 2013 Revenue Guidance; Issues Q4 2013 EPS Guidance In Line With Analysts' Estimates-Conference Call
Oracle Corp announced that for the fourth quarter of 2013, it expects total revenue growth on a GAAP and non-GAAP basis is expected to range from negative 1% to positive 4% in constant dollars and US dollars. Non-GAAP EPS is expected to be somewhere between $0.85 and $0.91, both US dollars and in constant dollars. And GAAP EPS is expected to be somewhere between $0.72 to $0.78, in both US and constant dollars. Oracle Corp To Buy Acme Packet Inc
Acme Packet Inc announced that it has entered into an agreement to be acquired by Oracle for $29.25 per share in cash representing a fully diluted equity value of $2.1 billion. Oracle Corp Updates Java, Security Expert Says It Still Has Bugs-Reuters
Reuters reported that Oracle Corp released an emergency update to its widely used Java software for surfing the Web on Sunday, days after the U.S government urged PC users to disable the program because of a bug it said made computers vulnerable to attack by hackers. Java security expert Adam Gowdiak, who has discovered several bugs in the software over the past year, said that the update from Oracle leaves unfixed several critical security flaws. Oracle Corp Enters Into Agreement To Acquire Eloqua Inc
Oracle Corp announced that it has entered into an agreement to acquire Eloqua Inc, provider of cloud-based marketing automation and revenue performance management software for $23.50 per share or approximately $871 million, net of Eloqua`s cash. The Board of Directors of Eloqua has unanimously approved the transaction. Oracle Corp Prices $5.0 Billion Of Investment Grade Notes
Oracle Corp announced the pricing of its sale of $2.5 billion of 1.200% Notes due 2017 (the 2017 Notes) and $2.5 billion of 2.500% Notes due 2022 (the 2022 Notes). The offering is expected to settle on October 25, 2012. The 2017 Notes will bear interest at the rate of 1.200% per year and the 2022 Notes will bear interest at the rate of 2.500% per year. Interest will be payable semi-annually on April 15 and October 15 for each of the 2017 Notes and the 2022 Notes, commencing on April 15, 2013. Oracle intends to use the net proceeds from the offering for general corporate purposes, which may include stock repurchases, future acquisitions and repayment of indebtedness, including repayment of its 4.95% senior notes due April 2013. The offering is being made through an underwriting syndicate led by Citigroup Global Markets Inc., J.P. Morgan Securities LLC, RBS Securities Inc. and Wells Fargo Securities, LLC. Full Article
