Orkla ASA Outsources IT Operations to Cognizant-Reuters
Reuters reported that Orkla ASA has decided to outsource its IT operations to Cognizant. Under the terms of the five-year agreement Cognizant will be responsible for Orkla's IT-infrastructure, applications and support services which were previously handled by Orkla Shared Services' division, Service Operations. The Company expects that the agreement will result in savings of approximately NOK 200 million over five years.
