PetSmart Inc Reaffirms FY 2012 Outlook; Reaffirms FY 2012 Comparable Store Sales Outlook; Issues Q3 2012 EPS Outlook Inline With Analysts' Estimates; Comments On Q3 2012 Comparable Store Sales Outlook

PetSmart Inc announced that for fiscal 2012, it expects comparable store sales growth in the mid single digit range, and total sales growth in the 10% to 11% range. The Company raising fiscal 2012, earnings per share guidance from a previous range of $3.19 to $3.31, to current expectations of $3.30 to $3.40. For the third quarter of 2012, it expects comparable store sales growth in the mid single digit range, and earnings per share between $0.59 to $0.63. The Company reported sales of $6.1 billion in fiscal 2011. According to I/B/E/S Estimates, analysts are expecting the Company to report revenues of $6.7 billion and EPS of $3.31 for fiscal 2012; for the third quarter of 2012 it expects EPS of $0.61.
